Inoculation

Inoculation is a defensive mechanic added by Starlight River. It reduces the amount of damage-over-time that the player takes from sources such as Debuffs and standing on Hellstone.

Calculations

The damage-over-time a player takes is multiplied by their Inoculation percentage. For example, if the player is inflicted with the Prismatic Drown debuff, which deals 60 damage per second, but has 50% Inoculation, they will take (60 * 0.5 = 30) damage per second instead.


If the player has more than 100% innoculation, they will instead gain Health when they would take damage-over-time. For example, if the player is inflicted with the Prismatic Drown debuff, which deals 60 damage per second, but has 110% Inoculation, they will instead take (60 * -0.1 = -6) damage per second (I.E, they will regenerate 6 Health per second instead).
