The Filet Knife is a Pre-Hardmode Sword obtained with a 1/3 chance from a Blood Zombie with a knife in its back that have a 1/50 chance to spawn instead of a normal Blood Zombie. When used, it functions like a normal broadsword and upon a critical strike, it will spawn a chunk of flesh which grants players the Well Fed and Blood Frenzy buff when picked up, which increases melee speed by 30% but prevents critical strikes from the Filet Knife.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
