Start exploring your new world! Gather resources and build some houses for NPCs. Increase your maximum health and take a trip to the Corruption/Crimson for your first ranged weapon and the Arms Dealer. Make sure to look for movement accessories such as the Hermes Boots. Gravitation Potions can be found in Cavern chests and can be used to access floating islands.

After defeating the King Slime and Eye of Cthulhu the player should max out their health. The player should have also encountered Alican and been given their first ability Starsight. With this the player should be ready to for the next step in progression.

Upon defeating the Auroracle the player will get access to various new weapons for each of the classes. This gear should help for the players first major step in progression.

At this point you should've already killed a few bosses, including Brain of Cthulhu/Eater of Worlds, follow Alican's advice to reach the next step in progression

After killing Ceiros and gaining the Forbidden Winds a number of items open up to the player. It is also worth killing Queen Bee at this point as you prepare you for Skeletron.

With Skeletron dead the player can now access new items in the Dungeon. The player may also want to open Shadow Chests in the underworld for Lifeforce Potions.
